April 11, 2006 Garbage Truck Fire

I heard talk on the scanner of a truck on fire,
the caller was unsure if the driver was aware.
I headed in the general direction and heard
the County Police helicopter saying it was in
sight. The chopper was pretty much overhead, so
I knew I was close. The driver wisely went to a
nearly-deserted park and proceeded
to dump the burning load.
